Then and Now, Pitjantjatjara artists, 1930s-1990s (original title: The Children's Gift,Tjitji Tjutangku Ungkuntja) evaluating the stylistic link between historic Aboriginal children's drawings from Ernabella, SA, Hermannsburg, NTand Carrolup, WA and current art practice of the corresponding regions. Tandanya Exhibition space, Adelaide, SA, 1993.  Initial exhibition financed by the Aboriginal Committee, Australia Council and the SA Ministry for the Arts.  Australian tour from 1996 with the Australian Exhibition Touring Agency and the National Gallery of Australia, Travelling Exhibitions program, with grants from Visions of Australia and ATSIC.

 

LINGO getting the picture 1995, exploring image evocation through mothertongue and acquired languages and involving Queensland artists and writers.  Financed by Arts Queensland.  Brisbane City Hall Gallery, October-November 1995.  Australian tour from 1996 with grant from Visions of Australia.
