Japanese-borne Junko Asaba was born in Yokohama, moving to Australia 25 years ago., After a career in teachingshe returned to art, studying at the University of Western Sydney then, in 2003, achieving her Masters in Visual Arts at the Sydney College of the Arts.

Max Dingle’s main focus is painting and sculpture in many mediums ranging from welded steel to stone, ceramic and found material. Since he graduated from the National Art School in 1974 he has been included in numerous group and solo exhibitions, the most recent have been a solo at the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery and group exhibition at Defiance Gallery in Newtown. He was awarded the Catalyst Award for small sculpture in 2010 and is represented in the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Collection as well as in private collections in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and the Kaplan Sculpture Collection in Sydney.
